Whenever I talk to my buddy Nate Dell I never refer to him as just Nate. Not even Nathan. It's always been, and always will be Nate Dell. He's probably one of the only Nates I even talk to anymore so there's no need for the last name, but it's always there. If I call his house or his girlfriend's phone, "Is Nate Dell around?". Whoever answers normally giggles.

Friendly portraits.

I recently asked my good friend Joe if I could shoot his photograph so I can help build a portfolio up of more stuff other than skateboarding. He was more than happy to be a team player. Unfortunately when we went out to my garage to shoot the photos, we ran into a little bit of a key problem and couldn't get in. So instead of having a ton of room and being able to set up multiple lights, I was reduced to having 2 and a little bit of crampness. Anyways, while I was shooting, I decided to get a couple shots of my beautiful girlfriend as well.

Winter '05

This group of photos is of the band Chiodos when they had played a show in Fenton (or near there) in winter 2005 (I believe). I remember standing in line in the snow and slush for 30 minutes before my friend Korey and I started talking to random people to cut ahead. It finally worked, and I'm glad we did because we later found out that the show had sold out.

Stargazer.

While driving yesterday I saw this old run down truck in an empty parking lot and noticed there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I thought this would look fantastic with some star streaks. So I went back later on last night and sure enough, there still wasn't a cloud in the sky. I may go back tonight with some color film and see how that works out, but I'm not 100% sure. Oh yeah, be on the look out for a couple more portraits from Matt K coming up soon.
